Ms. Vanessa has been a valued member of SBMA since 2015, supporting our community through a range of administrative and classroom duties. Originally from El Salvador, she is bilingual in both Spanish and English, and holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work. With over 15 years of experience in school settings, Ms. Vanessa is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys the authenticity and energy children bring each day.

 Though often found in the office, she frequently lends a hand in the classroom--her favorite area is Practical Life, especially flower arranging, which she believes helps children connect with and care for nature. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, and cultural exchange, a love she brings to SBMA's diverse community. "We all come from different cultures and we can all learn from one another."
